Ross Wilkinson began his martial arts study at the young age of fourteen at the Fuji Ryu Jujutsu Dojo in Las Vegas, Nevada. Under the tutelage of Judan (10th degree black belt) instructor, Grand-master Rahim El-Amin, Ross received his black belt in the art of jujutsu in 2002. After demonstrating his abilities, Ross was first allowed to help other students as an assistant instructor, and then eventually began teaching both private and group sessions to his own students. In 2000, Ross began training in Budo-Taijutsu under the instruction of Izaac Rowe and Patrick Tobey, and started traveling to the different seminars along the West Coast to study with various instructors of high level in the art. Ross has attended the Daikomyosai in Japan, and studied at the Hombu Dojo with several of the Shihan in the Bujinkan system. Shortly afterwards, Ross began studying under the instruction of Shidoshi Jeremis McFadden and received his black belt ranking. Currently he is ranked as a Sandan (3rd degree black belt) and teaches Budo-Taijutsu in the Las Vegas area. |
